The overall aim of the journal is to support the work towards better health gain by the integration of Health Promotion into the organisational structure and culture of clinical healthcare. This is done by significant improvement of a worldwide publication of clinical health promotion based on best evidence-based practice for patient, staff and community.

Clinical Health Promotion was introduced in 2011 by the international HPH Network and served as the official journal for the network from 2011-2020. Since 2014 it has been the official journal for the Clinical Health Promotion Society (CHPS).

Clinical Health Promotion is an open access journal and all issues can be downloaded free of charge in our archive.
